We're Working On It: An Update To Cake Pay's Debit Card Options
At Cake Wallet we're working hard to bring you the best (and safest) experience, but this journey isn't linear. Unfortunately, our Cake Pay supplier lost access to prepaid virtual Visa cards in the US and Canada, meaning they're no longer accessible in Cake Pay. We are equally torn by this, many of us internally (myself included) were purchasing these Visa cards!
Let me assure you: we're not giving up! We're doing everything possible to bring more exciting debit card options in the near future. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the situation. In the meantime, there are a couple alternatives for Cake Pay users:
- We support virtual prepaid Mastercard! This is the closest offering to our previous Visa option.
- We support Visa Reward virtual accounts.
- We support hundreds of individual retailers including Target, Starbucks, Amazon & Best Buy.
